Nothing

Put my running clothes and shoes on. Walked over to the track. Got 3/4 mile into a run and just couldn't go any further. Maybe tomorrow will be different.

Monster Half Marathon

This 13.5 mile half marathon (yes, 13.5) was the hardest race I've ever done. My joints felt horrible. Add to that the fact that I was running in a bumble bee costume and you have the perfect storm.

Starting Over

Walked for 20 minutes then did an easy jog for 30 minutes.

Four, Three, Four.

Back at the gym, as it's dark in the mornings now. I can't seem to run longer than four miles on the treadmill. Could make next weekend's half marathon a bit of a challenge.

3.25 and 3.

Did one leg of the Chicago Urbanathon. It was fun to do this with friends, but I don't think I'll be signing up again. Some cool and challenging obstacles along the way. This morning I hit the gym and the treadmill. I'm always sad when the darkness and/or the cold drive my running indoors.

Half of Chicago.

Had the chance to run in the Chicago marathon. Not trained for a full, but pulled out a half. Great training run for the monster. It was, however, very hot.
